After your glow worm experience, unwind at Polynesian Spa’s Deluxe Lake Spa. Set on the edge of Lake Rotorua, this area features five geothermal mineral pools, each offering a peaceful soak with stunning lake views. The natural mineral water, flowing from springs on site and nearby, are known for soothing bodies and softening skin, perfect for easing into the rest of your evening.

This is more than just a combo – it’s the ultimate winter evening in Rotorua. Adventure under the stars, followed by a restorative soak in one of Aotearoa’s most iconic geothermal spas.

• Booking is essential. We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot due to popularity as on the day bookings can miss out as we may be fully booked.
• Allow at least 3 hours for the round trip leaving from and returning to Rotorua.
• We will do our best to get in touch well in advance if the weather looks bad, unfortunately sometimes mother nature wins. If our regulations allow us to operate then we will operate.
• All participants 16 years and under must be supervised by a responsible adult 18 years or over
• The kayaks are ‘two person sit-on-top kayaks’ a weight limit of 220kg (total per kayak) applies

More Information About The Polynesian Spa’s Deluxe Lake Spa:

• You can use your entry on the same day as Kayak Glow Worm Tour or the following day
• Opening hours 9am-11pm daily, with last pool entry at 10.00pm
• Towels, lockers and premium toiletries are included
  
• On-site café and shop
• Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 8 years of age must be actively supervised by a caregiver aged 16 or over. The caregiver must always be in the water with the child and be able to provide immediate assistance if required.
• There is no time limit for bathing in the Deluxe Lake Spa
• There is no access from one bathing area into the other bathing areas

Pick-up: 

Our shuttle service runs from and to the Polynesian Spa, 1000 Hinemoa Street, Lakeside, Rotorua (included in the tour price). We recommend that you arrive at least 10 mins prior to the meeting time, once you meet your guide you can forget about time altogether!
