Detailed Description Of The Activity From Start To Finish:

Upon arrival your guide will talk and share with you the information required to help you understand how the Process of Tourism Development has shaped the Rotorua environment by looking specifically at our company Paddle Board Rotorua. This talk is specifically developed to help the student "demonstrate understanding of how a cultural process shapes geographic environment(s)” in accordance with Level 3 AS 91427. Following the learning experiences you will gear-up and prepare for an epic night out with all activity equipment provided. Your guide will then run through safety and basic kayak instruction before the students take the helm on the water. From there we explore the shoreline and embrace the weather conditions of the evening while nightfall sets in. Once dark we adventure inside the small hidden caves to encounter galaxies of glow worms, a magical intimate moment with mother nature. Once we finish exploring the caves, if it is a clear night the fun continues as the stars come out and the cloudy appearance of the milky-way fills the sky. Upon returning to the base your students will be full of excitement from the wonders they explored, an exhilarating educational experience.
